Emerging Markets Gain Prominence

• In recent years, as China actively expands into emerging markets such as those under the Belt and Road Initiative, many enterprises have reduced their reliance on the U.S. market.

• At the current Canton Fair, engagement and procurement demand from buyers in emerging markets continue to rise.

• With the implementation of U.S. tariff policies, more companies are intensifying efforts to explore emerging markets, further elevating their strategic role in the Canton Fair’s trade landscape.

Important Notice

1. Invitation-Only Access for Domestic Buyers

• Eligibility:
  Domestic buyers must receive targeted invitations from Trade Delegations, Canton Fair domestic partner agencies, or import exhibitors.

  • Invited enterprises: Register/login via the Canton Fair Domestic Buyer Credentials Platform using an invitation code.

  • Uninvited enterprises will be denied entry.

2. Credential Application Deadlines

• Domestic buyers:

  • Online pre-application required (no on-site registration).

  • Application deadlines:

    • Phase 1: April 10, 2025

    • Phase 2: April 19, 2025

    • Phase 3: April 27, 2025

  • Portal: Canton Fair Domestic Buyer Portal

3. Requirements for Overseas Buyers’ Escorts

• Chinese escorts of overseas buyers:

  • Apply for a Purchasing Representative Pass.

  • Application method: Follow official guidelines (details to be announced).
